That’s the average asking price for an apartment in West Hollywood. *
$6,000

That's just too high. This city was founded on affordability and equity, but now a quarter of our residents pay half their income or more in rent every month.
How much are we willing to pay before we admit we're in a housing crisis?
I'm a TV writer who moved here twelve years ago from New Orleans. I was living there before and after Hurricane Katrina, so I know something about a crisis. And I know what happens when leaders wait too long to act.
I’m running for City Council in West Hollywood because I want people to have homes they can afford. I want our streets to be safe, our businesses to be thriving, and our city and our sidewalks to be accessible to everyone.

I’m running because I love this city, and I want to help us write the next chapter.
